How Pinbury works

Pinbury is not open yet. This page describes how it is being built, and we will keep it up to date as it launches.

Homes from estate agents

Pinbury will show homes for sale and to rent in England, Scotland and Wales, as estate agents publish them online. Our aim is to take listings straight from estate agents' own websites.

Each listing will name the estate agent and link to the agent's own page for that home. You deal with the agent directly; Pinbury does not sit between you.

Street by street

Every home is placed on the map and matched to its street. As well as searching a town, an area or a postcode, you will be able to see what is on offer in a single street. A street gets a page when there are homes on offer in it.

When a listing is removed

Pinbury does not keep an archive of old listings. When a listing is taken down, we delete its photos, floor plan, description and contact details the same day.

What stays is a short record of basic facts, such as the type of home, the number of bedrooms, the asking price and the area or street, so that price history remains visible. The estate agent's name is not shown with those facts.

Estate agents stay in control

A listing is on Pinbury only while the agent publishes it. If you are an estate agent and want a listing, or the facts we keep about a removed one, taken off Pinbury, contact us and we will remove it.
