About Pinbury

Pinbury is a property search engine for England, Scotland and Wales. It is being built now and is not open yet.

Who is behind it

Pinbury is a project of Viva Ads Ltd, 5-9 Main Street, GX11 1AA Gibraltar, United Kingdom. The same team runs mapio.net, property search on a map for Germany, and Pinbury uses what we have learned there: search that starts from the map, areas and streets you can browse, and pages that load quickly.

The data Pinbury will use

• Property listings for sale and to rent, as estate agents publish them online. How Pinbury will work explains where they come from and what happens when a listing is removed.
• Streets and area boundaries from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors), so that you can search by area and by street.
• Postcode locations from the Office for National Statistics' postcode directory, published under the Open Government Licence.
• Sold prices for England and Wales from HM Land Registry's Price Paid Data, which is also open data.
